We’re giving Steelbro a lift!

Steelbro has a history dating all the way back to 1878, when it was founded by brothers Joseph and David Steel as a coach factory in Christchurch. The company has evolved from manufacturing horse-drawn wagons to producing motor vehicle bodies – and is now considered a leader in New Zealand’s transport industry. Today, they specialise in the design and manufacture of sidelifters, also known as self-loading trailers or container lifters. These products are used worldwide for efficient container handling across various industries, including transportation, trucking, rail, and logistics.

Power Equipment has been working alongside Steelbro to provide an efficient power solution for their sidelifter trailers.

A couple of weeks ago, we conducted final engine application testing on our 4TNV98 engine, which will supply the hydraulic power needed for their trailers. A great company and project to be involved with!
