The 2GMY features outstanding compactness for the most effective use of engine room space through ongoing efforts to reduce engine dimensions and weight. This high-speed, lightweight engine is faster as well. Yanmar’s unique swirly pre-combustion chamber gives you much better fuel economy.

Low vibrations and low noise

With a redesigned intake and water-cooled manifold, engine noise is reduced significantly. Vibrations usually associated with marine engines are also minimised by the comprehensive weight reduction and overall balance adjustments.
